All of the works in this series were shot in two different locations and stitched together. The foreground here is Tokyo and the backdrop is a pool in Cinque Terre.
This body of work by photographic artist Chris Pennings focuses on the amalgamation of disparate locations to create new and dreamlike landscapes. The works which are shot at various locations around the world on medium format film using the same set focal length are scanned in and collaged together. The intention is very much about making the viewer have to second guess the reality of the location.
